Beauty Blender Vs. Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

HI GUYS

I hope you're all doing super well!

Today I thought it would be a good idea to film this comparison video between two of the best selling makeup sponges out there: The 'Beauty Blender' and The Real Techniques 'Miracle Complexion Sponge'.

Both of these sponges are amazing and they both blend out very well. They don't take up a lot of your time to blend out your makeup and they are quite easy to use. All you need to do is dampen them before you start to use them so that they can grow in size (that's what she said) and do they job properly.

So here is the verdict:

THE BEAUTY BLENDER

  • I thought this sponge was particularly good at leaving a full coverage with my foundation and concealer and it seemed to blend everything out very well. However, my skin is quite dry and this sponge did cling more to my dry patches.
  • The sponge itself is quite light and is very easy to clean so you don't have to keep rinsing it with soap and water for too long and most of the product tends to come out.
  • This sponge retails for about £16 and it is pretty hard to get hold of in the UK but I actually purchased this sponge from BeautyBay.com and found that it was delivered very quickly which was a good thing!
  • The sponge is quite small once it's fully dry so it doesn't take up too much room in your makeup bag.
THE REAL TECHNIQUES MIRACLE COMPLEXION SPONGE
  • This sponge was very good at blending out and it didn't cling at all to my dry patches which is what I like in a makeup sponge.
  • It is a bit harder to clean then the Beauty Blender and more product is left in the sponge from where the foundation has stained it slightly.
  • This sponge retails for about £5 in Boots and it is much easier to purchase in the UK than the Beauty Blender is.
  • It's slightly larger in size than the Beauty Blender once fully dry but again it doesn't take up too much room in your makeup bag.
RESULTS

Overall, I really liked the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge just because it didn't cling to my dry patches which is what I like in a makeup sponge. The Beauty Blender was still pretty good though and I will continue to use both.

I will leave a link to my video where you can see how I use the sponges and what I thought of them both...

So I hope you enjoy this video and don't forget to give it a thumbs up if you did!

Until next time,

b3zb0 xoxo
