Today I wanted to share my first Halloween tutorial of 2016!
This is my take on a half sugar skull half glam Halloween look! It was so fun and easy to create and I'm sure you guys will have fun recreating this look too. You can easily take things from this look or change some of the colours to suit you or the look you're going for!
I used glitter, bead, bright colours and amazing lashes to create this look but you could even add some feathers and confetti (just about anything you have lying around or can think of!)
Here is the finished look:
And here is the link to the video so you can see a step by step guide on how to recreate this look:

I haven't posted in a while but I'm back with a bang to show you some of my favourite looks this Autumn...
These two looks include warm tone bronzey shades for my full face and I'm just loving it! The two looks are so easy to create and I had so much fun playing around with different colours whilst still using my favourite brown shades...
I'll leave some pictures below so you can see both the looks!
DAY
NIGHT
I absolutely loved how simple and fresh the day look was but the transition to the night look was my favourite - I played around with some gorgeous orange and mauve shades on my lid and darkened up the outer corner and crease with some warm toned browns! This look doesn't include winged liner but I can imagine that winged liner would bring a different intensity to the eyes but I loved the eyeshadow too much to apply liner!
PRODUCTS USED:
Smashbox Photo Finish Primer - Hydrating (the blue one)
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade - Dark Brown
NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation - Siberia
Kryolan TV Paint Stick - 00
MAC - Transparent Setting Loose Powder
Maybelline Matte Maker - 10, Classic Ivory (an oldie but a goodie!)
Smashbox - Shape Matters Palette
Smashbox - Art.Love.Colour Palette (I'm pretty sure this was a limited edition palette)

Smash box Be Legendary Lip Gloss - Pout and Orchid
NYX Lip Lingerie - Embellishment
Ardell Lashes - Demi Wispie (another old favourite!)
I don't think I've missed anything but I'll link the video below so you can see a full tutorial on how to create this gorgeous warm toned autumnal look!

HI GUYS So I know that I haven't blogged in a while but here goes... Today I thought it would be a good idea to finally film, edit and upload this video which is something that I am quite self conscious about and if you haven't guessed already by the title of this blog post then it is all about colour correcting stretch marks. So the point in today's video was to show you how to colour correct and I thought I would put it to the ultimate test of colour correcting on my body. My stretch marks are something that I am very self conscious about to the point that I have even looked into getting laser to try and get rid of them. My skin is more prone to them for whatever reason and I have tried so much to try and prevent them and get rid of them but nothing really seems to work for me so I am just going to learn to live with them. I have been thinking about uploading this video for an incredibly long time now and I kept putting myself off because I find that talking about something I'm so self conscious about is really hard and the thought of showing them to people made me feel sick. In life, we all have things that we are self conscious about and things that we just learn to live with and mine just so happens to be my stretch marks. Which is why I wanted to put colour correcting to the ultimate test to see if it would hide them! I'm not saying that you need to hide everything that you are self conscious about because that's really not what this video is all about, I simply just wanted to test colour correcting to see if it truly did work. So I will show you UNEDITED pictures of before and after colour correcting so you can truly see if it makes a difference to the appearance of your skin. BEFORE:
AFTER:
So as you can see, the colour correcting has made a difference to the appearance of my stretch marks and you would use the exact same process on your face when you were colour correcting. If you would like to see the video to see exactly how I colour corrected then I will leave a link below and please feel free to give the video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it!
Today I filmed my updated eyebrow tutorial which features my current favourite products and how I achieve the 'perfect' brow.
Over the years, I have used a series of different products ranging from pencils to powders and to creams but I really feel like nothing comes close to this product. I have been using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown for about 3 months now and a little really does go a long way - I can see it lasting me for ages!
The product is really easy to work with (providing you have the right tools) and if you make any mistakes then it is really easy to clear them up to improve your brow. However, that being said - once the product is on, it does take a lot to take it off. And I mean once it has fully set of course. So you do have to work quite quickly with it but it is good in the fact that it is long lasting and it will take a lot to remove the brow!
This product is quite hard to get a hold of in the UK but thanks to websites like BeautyBay.com, I was able to buy this product and try it out for myself! Check out their website if you are interested in it! The delivery was really fast too which is always a good thing when you're excited to try out a new product!
The product is buildable and this is only a good thing if you like the 'instagram brow' or also known as the 'fade brow'. You can use a light hard towards the start of your brow and by the end you can build it up so that there is a gradual fade which if you like that look, this product will be perfect for you!
I will leave the YouTube tutorial to this video below so that you can check it out if you are interested in how I create my brows on a day to day basis...

Today I filmed this super gorgeous smokey winged eyeliner look and I had so much fun filming and editing this look so check it out. This look is perfect for everyday wear or even for events and going out which is what I love about it! You can intensify it with lashes or rock a subtle eye for everyday wear... WITHOUT LASHES:
WITH LASHES:
So this look is lovely with or without lashes and it's entirely up to you whether you would want to wear lashes with this or not! I'll leave the link to this tutorial below so you can check it out! As always, don't forget to give this video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it and leave some comments letting me know what you want to see in the future!
I hope you're all doing super well! Today I thought it would be a good idea to film this comparison video between two of the best selling makeup sponges out there: The 'Beauty Blender' and The Real Techniques 'Miracle Complexion Sponge'. Both of these sponges are amazing and they both blend out very well. They don't take up a lot of your time to blend out your makeup and they are quite easy to use. All you need to do is dampen them before you start to use them so that they can grow in size (that's what she said) and do they job properly. So here is the verdict: THE BEAUTY BLENDER
I thought this sponge was particularly good at leaving a full coverage with my foundation and concealer and it seemed to blend everything out very well. However, my skin is quite dry and this sponge did cling more to my dry patches.
The sponge itself is quite light and is very easy to clean so you don't have to keep rinsing it with soap and water for too long and most of the product tends to come out.
This sponge retails for about £16 and it is pretty hard to get hold of in the UK but I actually purchased this sponge from BeautyBay.com and found that it was delivered very quickly which was a good thing!
The sponge is quite small once it's fully dry so it doesn't take up too much room in your makeup bag.
THE REAL TECHNIQUES MIRACLE COMPLEXION SPONGE
This sponge was very good at blending out and it didn't cling at all to my dry patches which is what I like in a makeup sponge.
It is a bit harder to clean then the Beauty Blender and more product is left in the sponge from where the foundation has stained it slightly.
This sponge retails for about £5 in Boots and it is much easier to purchase in the UK than the Beauty Blender is.
It's slightly larger in size than the Beauty Blender once fully dry but again it doesn't take up too much room in your makeup bag.
RESULTS
Overall, I really liked the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge just because it didn't cling to my dry patches which is what I like in a makeup sponge. The Beauty Blender was still pretty good though and I will continue to use both.
I will leave a link to my video where you can see how I use the sponges and what I thought of them both...
So I hope you enjoy this video and don't forget to give it a thumbs up if you did!
I am currently blogging with my cat purring beside me which gives me a toasty warm feeling inside that I feel you guys should know about before I go on...
How are you all? Have you survived January?
I can tell you how I am! ILL. AGAIN. I have had tonsillitis again and I'm only just starting to recover. The antibiotics are doing their trick but I do still have a nasty cold which involves a blocked nose and a very very chesty cough. *boos*
Other than being unwell, I have been filming when I have managed to sum up the energy to get out of my bed and I have finally edited and uploaded my first Valentine's Day look of 2016! I have plenty more on the way which involve glitter and the new Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette which I am really excited to use!
So this is the look I created:
I will leave my video below so you guys can watch it and see what you think. Leave me some comments letting me know what you think of this look and if you would wear it for Valentine's Day!

Today I thought it would be a good idea to film my foundation, contour and highlight routine so you can see exactly how I apply my face makeup without me skipping through it in a normal video.
Here is the finished look:
So unlike most YouTubers I have watched who have quite a heavy foundation, contour and highlight routine, I wanted to show you how I do my everyday to fully glam routine. This isn't super heavy on your face so it doesn't feel as heavy on your face all day. It's still a great coverage and keeps your skin looking healthy and glowy.

TIPS AND TRICKS
So it's been a while since I've shown you my tips and tricks but here they are...
NUMBER ONE - Moisturising your skin is one of the best things you can do for it so you should ALWAYS moisturise your skin before applying any makeup. (You should also ALWAYS moisturise your skin before you go to bed too so that it has time to recover after a full day of wearing makeup). Moisturising your skin is the best way to achieve a flawless face and leaves your skin thanking you...
EXTRA TIPS ON MOISTURISING:
I - If you don't already know your skin type then it is important to find out what skin type you have (Normal, Oily, Combination, Dry, Sensitive etc.)
II) Make sure you have the right moisturiser for your skin type. There is absolutely NO POINT in using a moisturiser on oily skin if you have dry skin. The moisturiser you use has been tailored specifically for your skin and what will work best for you so it is important to use the moisturiser that is right for your skin.
III) Give yourself plenty of time to apply your moisturiser before your makeup. You will need to wait about 5 minutes after moisturising before you apply your makeup otherwise your makeup could look quite patchy and strange which will leave you with a feeling of wanting to start again...
NUMBER TWO - Use whatever you feel comfortable with when applying your makeup. I have tried plenty of different methods to apply my makeup but I have found that a DAMP sponge is the best way to achieve a flawless finish on my skin. The one I recommend is the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge which has always left my face looking and feeling amazing. It is great for blending in your foundation with your concealers and colour correction so I would definitely recommend it! It is also very affordable so you don't break the bank like you would if you bought something more high end!
NUMBER THREE - Be patient when blending your powders into each other. No one likes to see harsh lines and obvious mistakes so make sure you don't apply too much to your brush! Applying little by little can get you the right result without looking too orange or pink!
NUMBER FOUR - Your makeup is what you want it to be so be confident and don't be afraid to make mistakes at first! Everyone does! Just be patient and find what works best for you. You don't have to go out and buy the most expensive thing out there just because everyone else says it works for them. It will take you a while to find what works for you but I can guarantee that there is something out there for everyone and all sorts of combinations you can try that will work best for your skin and give you the perfect finish!
