SILVER CUT CREASE LOOK AND A COMPARISON PALETTE TO FULL EXPOSURE?!

HI GUYS

Today I wanted to create another cut crease look but with silver being the focus of the look!

And that's the finished look!

As normal I used my Naked 2 Palette and Smashbox Cosmetics but today I also have a very comparable palette for a fraction of the price!

The L'Oreal 'Color Riche La Palette' which is very similar to the Smashbox Cosmetics Full Exposure Palette! The colours are matte which is perfect for the darker shades of this look! I will be doing a review of the palette as a whole very soon so keep checking out my blog.

TO CREATE THIS LOOK I USED:
Urban Decay - Primer Potion in Original
Urban Decay - Naked 2 Palette
Smashbox Cosmetics - Full Exposure Palette
Collection - Fast Stroke Eyeliner
Maybelline - False Lash Effect
Ardell Lashes - Demi Wispies

TIPS AND TRICKS
FIRSTLY - Prime your eyelid
SECONDLY - Start to blend in a bit of M3 into your crease with a fluffy brush but don't use too much! Only apply a bit at a time so you can see how dark it is getting. You also don't want to apply this to the outer corner of your lid because this is where we are going to use the silver colour to make the eyes POP!
THIRDLY - Use a small amount of M1 on a fluffy brush and blend this right into your crease. Remember not to bring this into your outer corner of your lid because unlike a smoky eye, we are trying to achieve the cut crease!
FOURTHLY - You can then use an accent brush with a little bit of M7 and draw a light line in your crease and then blend this upwards into the darker colours so you have a nice gradient effect.
FIFTHLY - Then apply some silver, I used 'Verve' from Naked 2, and apply this all over your lid.
SIXTHLY - If you feel that your darker shades aren't dark enough then darken them up a bit more for an intense cut crease look! (That's what I chose to do!)
SEVENTHLY - Apply your winged liner! (Take your time!)
EIGHTHLY - Curl your lashes and apply a generous amount of mascara.
FINALLY - Apply your lashes and you're good to go!

And that's it! It's as easy as that!

I hope you enjoy this look, let me know if you want to see more!

Don't forget to vote for what you would like to see more of on my blog by answering the question to the left of this page!

Until next time,

  1. Amazed by how perfectly you achieved this and even after reading this post I just know I'm not going to end up with the same result 😅 Here's hoping though

    1. Thanks! I hope it does go well for you though! Do you own any of the palettes I used to create this look? That will probably help when creating the look but if not you could improvise with other colours from other palettes :-) x
