COLOURFUL BLUE LOOK

HI EVERYONE

Today I decided to create a very colourful look with it being summer and all! And today it has been sooo hot!

This look was created only using drugstore products which is better for those of you who can't afford to just splurge on expensive palettes.

TO CREATE THIS LOOK I USED
Seventeen - Large Eye Palette
Seventeen - Eye shadow in 'green'
Collection - Fast Stroke Eyeliner
BarryM - Kohl Pencil in White
Ardell Lashes - Demi Wispies
AND THAT'S IT! I didn't want to use a lot of products for this look because it is already so bright and colourful that I didn't want to over do it too much by  incooperating too many colours.

Oh and this is the large eye palette so you can see the colours I used:

TIPS AND TRICKS
FIRSTLY - You want to use a lighter colour to apply on your brow bone and the very inner corner of your eye. I chose to use the white colour from the Seventeen Large Eye Palette and I just layered it up!
SECONDLY - I used a fluffy brush and a small amount of the green colour in my crease. I only used a bit at a time until I was happy with the colour. I also applied some of this under my eye.
THIRDLY - I applied a small amount of the dark blue colour to my crease and blended it out with the lighter colour. I also brought this down into my outer corner.
FOURTHLY - I then applied a silvery colour from the large eye palette to the middle of my eye and blended this in with the blue.
FIFTHLY - I drew in my waterline with the white kohl pencil.
SIXTHLY - I applied my winged liner.
SEVENTHLY - I then drew a small and much thinner line in the white kohl pencil under my wined liner. This made my eyes look a lot larger!
FINALLY - I applied my mascara and lashes!

And that is the look! It's quite simple and it only took me 10 minutes to complete. This look is very bold and colourful but it is perfect for those of you whole like to experiment or love to use lots of colour!

So I hope you like this look! I'm hoping to maybe start videoing some of my looks so it's easier to follow what I'm doing. Let me know if you want to see some videos!

Until next time,

CURLS WITH STRAIGHTENERS

HI GUYS

As promised I have posted a blog post to go along with my Khloe Kardashian inspired hair and makeup because I know what the hair tutorial is quite confusing to follow. So this is my hair tutorial and I hope it makes sense. It will be quite hard to explain through images but I will try my hardest! However, if you are still finding it confusing then please let me know and I'll try and upload a video to show you exactly how I do it!

Anyway - here is the tutorial!

FIRSTLY - I started off by spraying my hair with some heat protectant spray. You can use whatever heat protectant spray you like but I decided to go with the Lee Stafford Straightening Spray (I can't quite remember the name)
SECONDLY - I brushed through my hair and seperated it into sections.
THIRDLY - I turned on the hair straighteners and straightened down the length of my hair. The goal here isn't to achieve pin straight hair but to simply smooth it down so it makes it easier to curl.
FOURTHLY - I did this:

Can you see the face I'm pulling? That is me trying to take a picture and make sure that you can still see what's going on. I would like you to ignore this face because I understand that I look like I want to kill someone but I honestly don't. This is my normal face. Hands up if you have this problem! Anyway, you can see that the hair is coming out of the top of the hair straighteners. I dragged this down for about an inch and then I flipped the hair straighteners around the other way to create that loosely crimped style hair that Khloe Kardashian seems to be a fan of.
FINALLY - You repeat these steps and when you're done you just give it a bit of a tug here and there and spray it over with some hair spray and scrunch it or even back comb it if you want! Give it some volume to make your hair look big and thick!

And it's as simple as that. This hair look takes about 10-15 minutes to complete and you can try it out with different amount of hair that you curl at a time.

I hope that clears up any confusion with the tutorial so you understand it a bit better! But if you are still struggling to follow then just comment and let me know and I'll upload a video to show you how to complete the whole look.

Let me know what you think and if you want me to create any other styles / tutorials for you! I also have an exciting product on the way which I will be able to create some crazy eye looks with! Keep checking out my blog to find out what I'm up to!

Until next time,

THE TECHNIQUE OF BAKING WITH DRUGSTORE PRODUCTS - HD SKIN

HI GUYS

Today's tutorial is all about baking which is a technique that basically 'creates the face' (in my opinion)

I have been working on this tutorial for a long time while trying to find a highlighting powder that is light enough for my face because I AM SO PALE. It sucks.

So this is the finished look (and I know this is the picture I used yesterday for my Khloe Kardashian makeup look but that's because I also baked to create this look!)

Can you see where my face looks slightly brighter than usual? This is because I used a light enough powder for my face... and it actually worked.

AND NOW FOR THE TECHNIQUE...
TIPS AND TRICKS:
FIRSTLY - I started with applying all of my makeup, including contour and eyebrows, and then I started to apply my powders. Also I would like to inform you that I did use YSL Eye serum under my eyes which really helped with this look but it is entirely up to you if you decide to use this / invest in this. You could just use an eye moisturiser! (I applied this under my foundation)
SECONDLY - I found a triangular shaped sponge with a sharp edge and covered it with Maybelline's Matte Maker in 10, 'Ivory Classic' which is very light! If you guys have light skin, like me, and you are struggling to find a powder that is light enough to do this then invest in this product! It is very affordable and it lasts for a long time! I'm so pleased with it!
THIRDLY - I started by patting lots and lots of the product on the areas of my face that I wanted to highlight which was my forehead, under eyes, chin and the bridge of my nose. I made sure that I applied a generous amount so that it would work and looked very light on my already very light skin until it looked like this:

FOURTHLY - I then applied some Urban Decay 'All Nighter' Setting Spray and waited about 10 minutes.
FIFTHLY - After the 10 minutes were up, I wiped away the product with my contour and highlight brush by No7 which is a very reliable and affordable brush! I brushed the product off in the same direction so for example, I would brush the product from my cheeks in light strokes up to my ear until the powdery look had gone.
FINALLY - Once I was happy with the look, I applied some blusher and some highlight from Benefit (Watt's Up, another product I adore) and I was good to go!

So that's it guys! It's that simple! And this is a message to all you guys who really struggle because you have light skin:
It will take you a long time to find a light enough colour for your skin, I know it and everyone else with light skin knows it too. Don't worry, you'll get there in the end! Just keep experimenting until you're happy with the end result. I mean, I was struggling so much at first that I even tried talcum powder to see if that would work... I looked like a ghost. Have patience - you will find a light enough product eventually! And if you're a lucky one, like me, who has found a colour light enough for them then let everyone else know in the comments so they can try it out too!
Okay guys, that's it for today! Tomorrow I will have the hair tutorial to go with my Khloe Kardashian look because I know it's quite confusing to follow. It will all be explained in depth with that tutorial!

I know some of you guys have been voting for what you would like to see more of and at the moment, eye looks seems to be in the lead! I will have some more eye looks on the way for you guys but again, let me know if there is anything you would like me to tackle from everyday looks to special occasion looks to really 'out there' looks!

Until next time,

b3zb0 xoxo

KHLOE KARDASHIAN INSPIRED HAIR AND MAKEUP LOOK

HI EVERYONE

Today I decided to create a Khloe Kardashian inspired hair and makeup look because she always looks on point!

Here it is...

And this is the look that inspired me:

WHAT I USED TO CREATE THIS LOOK:
Soap and Glory - 6 in 1 Moisturiser
Benefit - That Gal Face Primer
Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion in 'original'
Maybelline - Super Stay 24 Hours in 005, 'Light Beige'
Maybelline - Fit Me Concealer in 35 (for contour)
Maybelline - Matte Maker in 10, 'Ivory Classic'
Seventeen - Define and Conquer Contour Kit
Benefit - Watt's Up Highlighter
Collection - 'Work the Colour' Eyebrow Kit
Benefit - Gimme Brow in Medium / Deep
Smashbox - Full Exposure Palette (colours M1, M2, M3 & M7)
Seventeen - Large Eye Palette (White colour)
Max Factor - False Lash Effect Mascara
Max Factor - Creme Puff Blush in 15, 'Seductive Pink'
YSL - Touché Élcat in No1
Rimmel London - Lip liner in 064, 'Obsession'
Smashbox - Always Sharp Lip Liner in 'Rosebud'
Max Factor - Lipstick in 615, 'Star Dust Pink'
Urban Decay - 'All Nighter' Makeup Setting Spray

AND FOR HAIR:
GHD Straighteners
Lee Stafford - Heat Protectant Spray
Hair Extensions
Silvikrin Hairspray
Crocodile Clips

TIPS AND TRICKS (Makeup)
FIRSTLY - I started by moisturising my skin so it was nice and smooth and ready for a lot of makeup application!
SECONDLY - After 5 minutes of waiting for the moisturiser to settle in, I primed my face ready for foundation.
THIRDLY - I then applied my foundation and used my Real Techniques Beauty Sponge to help give the flawless feel.
FOURTLY - The Kardashians are all big up on their contour so I started on contour pretty much straight away. I usually do this last but I decided to start with it because it is a bit part of this look. So basically, I started using my Fit Me Concealer by Maybelline and drew lines on my face where I wanted my contour to be. I then blended upwards using my Real Techniques Beauty Sponge. I applied the concealer on my forehead, under my cheek bones, nose and under my lower lips so help accent these features on my face.
FIFTHLY - I then started on brows which I will link here
SIXTHLY - I primed my eyes and started with a small amount of M3 on a fluffy brush and blended this into my crease.
SEVENTHLY - I then blended M2 into my crease and outer corner of my lid.
EIGHTLY - I then applied M1 and M7 into my crease to darken up the look. I also brought this into the centre of my lid.
NINETHLY - I applied a white colour from a Seventeen Palette that I've had for ages in the corner of my eye to brighten it up a bit.
TENTHLY - I started on my lashes which I curled and then applied 3 coats of mascara to. The Kardashians are all about lashes so I wanted to make sure mine looked long and voluminous!
ELEVENTHLY - I decided to bake. This is the process of highlighting and contouring. You basically apply a hell of a lot of powder onto a brush and apply it on your face where you want your contour / highlight to be. You have to apply a generous amount and wait for a while. I also used some setting spray by Urban Decay while I was baking so that the colour stayed in place.
TWELVETHLY - Once I had waited for about 10 minutes, I applied a small amount of 'Watt's Up' Highlighter on the highest points of my cheeks.
THIRTEENLY - I applied a small amount of Rimmel London's Lip Liner in 'Obsession' to the middle of my lips to give that ombre / 3D effect.
FOURTEENTHLY - I applied my Smashbox Cosmetics Lip Liner all of my lips and then I applied my Max Factor Lipstick in 'Star Dust Pink'
FINALLY - I applied some more makeup setting spray and I was good to go!

TIPS AND TRICKS (HAIR)
FIRSTLY - I brushed through my hair. (simple as that!) (I wish)
SECONDLY - I brushed through my hair extensions which are the same length as my hair. This is because I wanted to create volume in my hair and make it look a bit thicker. I also was unsure if Khloe was wearing extensions in this picture but her hair looks really thick so I thought I might as well use some!
THIRDLY - I then clipped up my hair.
FOURTHLY - I turned on my hair straighteners.
FIFTHLY - I applied some heat protectant spray.
SIXTHLY - I then started to curl my hair with the hair straighteners by flipping my hair one way and then flipping it the other way (I will do an in depth tutorial on this because it is so hard to explain but you could just loosely curl your hair)
SEVENTHLY - I then repeated all of this and applied some hair spray.
FINALLY - I puffed up my hair and I was good to go!

So guys if you like this look let me know!

Don't forget to tell me what you want to see more of...

Until next time,

SILVER CUT CREASE LOOK AND A COMPARISON PALETTE TO FULL EXPOSURE?!

HI GUYS

Today I wanted to create another cut crease look but with silver being the focus of the look!

And that's the finished look!

As normal I used my Naked 2 Palette and Smashbox Cosmetics but today I also have a very comparable palette for a fraction of the price!

The L'Oreal 'Color Riche La Palette' which is very similar to the Smashbox Cosmetics Full Exposure Palette! The colours are matte which is perfect for the darker shades of this look! I will be doing a review of the palette as a whole very soon so keep checking out my blog.

TO CREATE THIS LOOK I USED:
Urban Decay - Primer Potion in Original
Urban Decay - Naked 2 Palette
Smashbox Cosmetics - Full Exposure Palette
Collection - Fast Stroke Eyeliner
Maybelline - False Lash Effect
Ardell Lashes - Demi Wispies

TIPS AND TRICKS
FIRSTLY - Prime your eyelid
SECONDLY - Start to blend in a bit of M3 into your crease with a fluffy brush but don't use too much! Only apply a bit at a time so you can see how dark it is getting. You also don't want to apply this to the outer corner of your lid because this is where we are going to use the silver colour to make the eyes POP!
THIRDLY - Use a small amount of M1 on a fluffy brush and blend this right into your crease. Remember not to bring this into your outer corner of your lid because unlike a smoky eye, we are trying to achieve the cut crease!
FOURTHLY - You can then use an accent brush with a little bit of M7 and draw a light line in your crease and then blend this upwards into the darker colours so you have a nice gradient effect.
FIFTHLY - Then apply some silver, I used 'Verve' from Naked 2, and apply this all over your lid.
SIXTHLY - If you feel that your darker shades aren't dark enough then darken them up a bit more for an intense cut crease look! (That's what I chose to do!)
SEVENTHLY - Apply your winged liner! (Take your time!)
EIGHTHLY - Curl your lashes and apply a generous amount of mascara.
FINALLY - Apply your lashes and you're good to go!

And that's it! It's as easy as that!

I hope you enjoy this look, let me know if you want to see more!

Don't forget to vote for what you would like to see more of on my blog by answering the question to the left of this page!

Until next time,

FULLY GONE GLAM

HI

Today I decided to create a 'fully gone glam' hair and makeup look...

FOR MY HAIR I USED:
GHD Straighteners
Lee Stafford Professional Straightening Iron Mist
Toni and Guy - Shine Mist
Crocodile Clips
Paddle Brush

TOPS TIPS FOR HAIR:
FIRSTLY - Make sure you brush through your hair before spraying it with heat protectant spray. You want to make it easier when it comes to separating your hair into sections so you don't have to deal with tangles.
SECONDLY - Seperate your hair into sections using the crocodile clip.
THIRDLY - Take a small section of hair and place your hair straighteners about 2 inches away from the root of your hair. Then twist the straighteners around so your hair is wrapped around them and slowly pull the straighteners down the length of your hair until you reach the bottom and then release your hair.
FOURTHLY - MAKE SURE YOU DON'T TOUCH YOUR HAIR. If you start brushing your fingers through it straight away your curls will drop out and you'll have to re-curl it a lot.
FIFTHLY - Make sure that you curl each section in a different direction and keep repeating this step until you are happy with the amount of curls / curliness you want.
SIXTHLY - When you are done, you can spritz some hair spray all over your hair but I chose not to today simple because I have ran out of hairspray!
FINALLY - Apply some shine mist to finish off the look.

AND YOU'RE DONE WITH HAIR.

Now for makeup...

WHAT I USED:
Benefit - Moisturise 'Triple Performing Facial Emulsion'
L'Oreal - 'Lumi Magiqué'
Maybelline - Stay Super 24 Hour foundation in 005 'Light Beige'
Collection - Eyebrow Kit
Benefit - Gimme Brow in 'Medium / Deep'
YSL - 'Touché Éclat' in No.1
Smashbox Cosmetics - 'Full Exposure' Palette
Urban Decay - Naked 2
Collection - 'Fast Stroke' Eyeliner
Max Factor - 'False Lash Effect'
Revlon - FIT Me Concealer in '35'
Seventeen - 'Define and Conquer' Contouring Kit
Benefit - 'Watt's Up'
Max Factor - Creme Puff Blush in 'Seductive Pink'
Ardell Lashes - 'Demi Wispies'
Real Techniques Brushes - Foundation Brush, Stippling Brush, Base Shadow Brush, Deluxe Crease Brush, Accent Brush, Beauty Blender
No7 - Contour and Highlight Brush, Blusher Brush

TIPS AND TRICKS
FIRSTLY - Apply your everyday moisturiser and leave it for about 5 minutes to sink into your skin before applying primer and foundation.
SECONDLY - Start on eyebrows. I have a brow tutorial if you're struggling with brows.
THIRDLY - Then start on your eyes. I used M3 in the crease with a fluffy brush and I blended this like crazy.
FOURTHLY - I then applied M1 in my create and outer corner and blended this with a fluffy brush.
FIFTHLY - I then applied 'YDK' from Naked 2 into the middle of my lid and blended this with M1.
SIXTHLY - I then used a white colour which I can't remember the name of??? (But any white will do!) and place this in the inner corner of your eye.
SEVENTHLY - Then I applied some eyeliner and my under eye colours which were the same colours I used for my lid.
FINALLY - Curl and coat your lashes with mascara and then apply your favourite lashes.

AND THAT'S MAKEUP DONE.

SMOKY EYE WITH A HINT OF ORANGE

HI

Today I was getting ready and I just went with the flow and tried something completely different...

So here it is! It's quite simple and really it's a look that's all about the lashes. Obviously, I used falsies because they really compliment the look!

TO CREATE THIS LOOK I USED:
ONLY ONE PALETTE - Smashbox Cosmetics 'Full Exposure' Palette
Benefit - Bad Gal Lash Mascara
Max Factor - False Lash Effect
Ardell Lashes - 'Demi Wispies'

TIPS AND TRICKS -
FIRSTLY - You start off by blending in M3 into the crease from 'Full Exposure' until you have your desired colour! The colour comes out as a deep orange which really made my eyes pop!
SECONDLY - I started to blend M6 into the crease with another fluffy brush.
THIRDLY - I used some black on the same fluffy brush (M7)
FOURTHLY - I then used an accent brush with M7 to darken up my lash line and my lower lash line and then blended this out.
FIFTHLY - I used S4 all over my lid and then blended this out with the outer corner of my eye.
SIXTHLY - I curled my lashes and coated them with mascara.
FINALLY - I applied my falsies and then applied some more mascara to help disguise them seeing as I chose not to wear winged liner with this look, which is very unusual for me!

AND THAT'S IT! IT'S REALLY THAT SIMPLE.

This look took me about 15-20 minutes to complete.

So that's it for today guys! I hope you like this look - let me know what else you would like to see by answering the question at the left hand side of this page...

Until next time,

DARK, BOLD EYE LOOK

YO

Hello! Today I decided to create a darker look that involves matte and shimmery colours...

So this is the look I created!

What do you guys think? Do you like it?

TO CREATE THIS LOOK I USED:
Smashbox Cosmetics - 'Full Exposure' Palette
Urban Decay - 'Naked 2' Palette
Collection - 'Fast Stroke' Eyeliner
Benefit - 'Bad Gal Lash' Mascara
Ardell Lashes - 'Demi Wispies'
Sellotape (for the very defined line)

TIPS AND TRICKS
FIRSTLY - Start by applying your sellotape to the area you want the line to be extended when you start to blend your eyeshadow.
SECONDLY - Use a lighter colour as your transition colour, I used M5 from 'Full Exposure', and then blend this in your crease with a fluffy brush.
THIRDLY - Apply a slightly darker colour with the same brush, I used M6 from 'Full Exposure', and blend blend blend until you are satisfied!
FOURTHLY - Find yourself a new fluffy brush and use a very SMALL AMOUNT of 'Blackout' from 'Naked 2' and blend this in your outer corner and the inner corner of your eye.
FIFTHLY - When you are happy with how dark it is, you can start on the middle of your eye which is the lighter and shimmery colour, I used YDK, and then you simply just blend this with the darker colours on either side of your eye.
SIXTHLY - Gently peel off the sellotape.
SEVENTHLY - Take your time to apply your winged liner, really take your time, and then wait for it to dry.
EIGHTHLY - Curl your lashes and apply some mascara.
FINALLY - Apply your lashes!

SIMPLE.

Let me know what you think of this look!

I will be uploading a brighter / vibrant look soon so keep checking out my blog!

WHOLE FACE GLAMOUR

HIIIII

Today I wanted to show you a full face tutorial...

TO CREATE THIS LOOK I USED:
Benefit - Moisturize 'Triple Performing Facial Emulsion'
L'Oreal - 'Lumi Magiqué'
Maybelline - Stay Super 24 Hour foundation in 005 'Light Beige'
Collection - Eyebrow Kit
Benefit - Gimme Brow in 'Medium / Deep'
YSL - 'Touché Éclat' in No.1
Smashbox Cosmetics - 'Full Exposure' Palette
Collection - 'Fast Stroke' Eyeliner
Max Factor - 'False Lash Effect'
Revlon - FIT Me Concealer in '35'
Seventeen - 'Define and Conquer' Contouring Kit
Benefit - 'Watt's Up'
Max Factor - Creme Puff Blush in 'Seductive Pink'
Ardell Lashes - 'Demi Wispies'
Real Techniques Brushes - Foundation Brush, Stippling Brush, Base Shadow Brush, Deluxe Crease Brush, Accent Brush, Beauty Blender
No7 - Contour and Highlight Brush, Blusher Brush

TIPS AND TRICKS
FIRSTLY - I started by applying my moisturiser so my face felt soft and ready for the day!
SECONDLY - I waited for the moisturiser to sink into my skin (about 5 minutes) and then I applied some primer.
THIRDLY - I applied my foundation with my foundation brush and then pushed the product into my skin with my Beauty Blender by Real Techniques. This helps to keep the product in place for much longer and gives a very airbrushed finish! For a better finish, try wetting your Beauty Blender or any sponge you want to try out. Your skin will feel much more moisturised!
FOURTHLY - I then started on brows. I will link the brow tutorial so you can see an in depth tutorial of how I do my brows.
FIFTHLY - I highlighted my brow bone with my YSL 'Touché Éclat' in No.1 and blended this in using my ring finger (third finger, the one next to your little finger)
SIXTHLY - I started with my eyeshadow. I started to blend M5 into my crease with the brush that comes with the 'Full Exposure Palette' and then used the same brush to blend in M6.
SEVENTHLY - I used my accent brush by Real Techniques to apply M7 from 'Full Exposure to my outer corner and crease.
EIGHTHLY - I applied my shimmery colour, S4 from 'Full Exposure' to my lid and then blended this in with the darker colours on the outer corner of my lid.
NINETHLY - Then I worked really hard on getting my eyeliner right... AND ONCE I WAS HAPPY, I blended my eye shadow once more with my deluxe eye shadow crease brush from Real Techniques.
TENTHLY - I started on contour! I applied Maybelline's Fit Me Concealer in 35 to the hollows of my cheeks and blended this upwards using my Beauty Blender by Real Techniques. I also applied this to the top of my forehead and my nose and made sure I blended so it looked natural. ONE OF THE MANY PROBLEMS WITH PALE SKIN LIKE MINE IS THAT IT IS SO HARD TO GET YOUR CONTOUR RIGHT.
ELEVENTHLY - I then applied my powder contour with my contour and highlight brush from No7 and blended this upwards where I applied the Fit Me concealer.
TWELFTHLY - Once I was happy with my contour, I started on my highlight. I used 'Watt's Up' from Benefit because I love it and I applied it with my contour and highlight brush from No7. This brush is double sided and I used the even side for the highlight and the angled side for the contour.
THIRTEENTHLY - (These number are getting out of control!) I applied my blusher to the apples of my cheeks.
FOURTEENLY - I applied my mascara and lashes. I don't know why I did this last but sometimes I like to be spontaneous...
FINALLY - I decided I wanted to wear a bold lip after a long time of consideration. I chose to wear 'Ruby Woo' from Mac and I used 'Red' lip liner from Mac also.

AND THAT IS THE LOOK DONE.

Although this look took a long time to create, it was well worth it and it went perfect with my dress (especially the lip colour!)

This look is perfect for nights out or parties or any special event really. IN GENERAL, if you want to look glam then this look would be perfect for it.

So YES. That is the look that I have been meaning to upload for a while now but due to exams I haven't had the time :( NOW EXAMS ARE OVER AND I WILL BE UPLOADING A LOT!

So I hope you liked this look! Don't forget to let me know what you think or what you would like to see next. Answer in the vote which is on the left hand side of this page where I have asked what you would like to see more of!

Until next time,

SMOKY EYELINER LOOK WITHOUT THE EYELINER

HI AGAIN

Today's look is for people who struggle with eyeliner but are desperate to try the look!

I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS LOOK AND I CAN HONESTLY TELL YOU THAT I WILL BE USING THIS LOOK AGAIN!

This look is amazing! I loved the way it turned out and I am so over the moon with it, I hope you love it too!

Products I used:
Urban Decay - 'Original' Primer Potion
Smashbox Cosmetics - 'Full Exposure' Palette
Urban Decay - 'Naked 2' Palette
Sellotape
YSL - 'Touché Éclat' in No.1
Max Factor - 'False Lash Effect' Mascara
Ardell Lashes - 'Demi Wispies'
TIPS AND TRICKS
FIRSTLY - You want to make sure that you have applied your primer so it lasts all day / night.
SECONDLY - Sellotape time. You need to grab some sellotape and stick it where you want your line to be. This will help create a very straight line that looks like eyeliner.
THIRDLY- Start by working a lighter colour into your crease. I used M5 from 'Full Exposure' (as usual) and applied this with the fluffy brush that came with the palette.
FOURTHLY - Once you are happy with the crease colour you can then start applying a darker colour. I used M6 with a clean fluffy brush and then blended this with the fluffy brush I used for my first crease colour.
FIFTHLY - I then used 'Busted' from Naked 2 and blended this with the brush that came with the Naked 2 palette. Then I went back to my original fluffy brush and blended it all out.
SIXTHLY - I applied 'Blackout' to the very edge of the sellotape and blended it to the outer corner of my eye so it was a gradient effect.
SEVENTHLY - I then applied 'Booty Call' from Naked 2 to the inner corner of my eye and underneath the inner corner.
EIGHTLY - I applied 'YDK' from Naked 2 to the middle of my eye and blended this with the outer and inner corner of my eye.
NINETHLY - I then peeled off the sellotape and saw this...

And I was so happy. I loved it so much. The sellotape idea was so perfect and the line is so straight!
TENTHLY - I applied my under eye colour which was 'Busted' from Naked 2
ELEVENTHLY - Once I was happy with my under eye colour, I then curled my lashes and applied my mascara so it looked like this...

But I wanted to apply my lashes as always and that's what I did...

So it looked like this. I then also applied my YSL 'Touché Éclat' in No.1 under my eye and used a beauty blender by Real Techniques to blend it out and lighten under my eye.

So that is it. It is quite a lengthy process but it was so worth it! This look is perfect for those who want the eyeliner but struggle to get their line looking on point.

I hope you like this look! Let me know what you think!

I have also included a question on my blog for you to answer so you can let me know what you would like to see more of - let me know by answering!

ALL ABOUT BROWS

HOW ARE YOU ALL TODAY?

Today is all about brows! How I fill in my brows to add shape and thickness as well as the products I use!

THIS IS AN EYEBROW. It is actually my eyebrow (once I've filled it in)

AND THIS IS MY NATURAL EYEBROW (no product)

I fill in my brows because I want to, I don't like them to be over the top but I do like to add a bit of shape to them and thicken them up a bit. My eyebrows grow back so quickly so I have to pluck them regularly which is always annoying but this is how I fill in my brows...

STEP ONE

I have used a really light colour at the start of my eyebrow so it acts as a gradient effect rather than a big black brow. Personally, I prefer natural looking brows which is why I use a lighter colour to begin with. I also use a small angled brush to apply this while also using light strokes so it isn't too harsh.

STEP TWO

This part is a bit harder because you are outlining the shape of your eyebrow. I draw a line at the bottom of my brow and the top of my brow very lightly until I like the shape and then I darken it up a bit. I then join the two lines together as I reach my arch. I also use a small angled brush to create the shape of my eyebrow.

STEP THREE

FILL THAT BROW IN. I have used the same colour as the colour I used when I shaped my brow (previous step if you forgot) and I also used the same angled brush.

STEP FOUR

Use a slightly darker colour on the arch and the middle of your brow to darken it up a bit. This will help with the gradient effect I mentioned earlier.

STEP FIVE

I have used a brow tint from Benefit ('Gimme Brow') to thicken my brow even more but you can skip this step if you want. I have also set my brow with some clear brow mascara. Then I highlighted under my eyebrow with YSL 'Touché Élcat in No.1. This is quite expensive however, so I also have an affordable alternative which is a product I am very familiar with! This is 'Arch De Triumph' by Soap and Glory and you can use the highlighting side of the pencil for your highlight.

A LIST OF PRODUCTS I USED:
Collection - 'Work the Colour' Eyebrow Kit
Benefit - 'Gimme Brow'
YSL - 'Touché Éclat' in No.1
BROW TALK
Brows are commonly abused when talked about because people are so weird about the whole filling in your brows etc. Brows are brows and if you want to fill them in then go for it! Obviously people will always prefer different brow looks and intensity of brows but I like mine to look natural and not too over the top. Big black brows are NOT my thing at all. Believe me, I tried it once just for a laugh and honestly - I looked so strange! I won't ever do that again...

You always have to remember that it takes time to find what suits you and what looks you prefer, there is no right or wrong answer with makeup because it is all about experimentation! This is the brow look that I prefer and have been working with for ages.

So that is brows for you!

Let me know how you get on with it and if you found my advice helpful!

I have another look coming later on which I'm so excited to show you guys...

Until next time,

MESSY CURLS

HI GUYS

I wanted to do something a little bit different today and decided 'hey, why not do a hair tutorial??' And so basically... I did.

TODAY IT IS ALL ABOUT CURLS.

Basically this time lapse video was a clever little idea to show you exactly what I do to create these curls.

TIPS AND TRICKS
FIRSTLY - Make sure you brush your hair and use some heat protection spray so you don't damage your hair.
SECONDLY - Section off your hair.
THIRDLY - Curl large sections of hair.
FOURTHLY - Repeat these steps.
FIFTHLY - Re-curl bits of hair that might have lost their curl!
FINALLY - When you are happy with your curls gently brush through your hair with your fingers and play around with it a little bit! Use some hair spray or don't if you can't find any like I couldn't... MAYBE ADD SOME VOLUME!

And that's it!

The curling wand I used is actually from America and took a while to get here but I am so glad I have it. It is the 25mm barrel from Nume and I love it soooo much so if you're looking to update your hair curlers then definitely look into Nume!

I will be uploading some more hair tutorials and other ways of creating the curls etc but let me know if you would like to see any other hair tutorials!
